Hi,
I am looking at designing some SoHo setups using Cisco 827's performing NAT overload. I need to allow the clients on the LAN side of the Cisco 827 to connect via VPN (Microsoft PPTP or Microsoft L2TP) to a Microsoft VPN servers.
Is there any way to allow a passthru of the PPTP traffic over the Cisco NAT? Such as other manufactures products offer? (3COM ADSL router, Linksys broadband routers)
Obviously, I would much rather stick to CISCO than using other products
I can connect on a test setup fine using a direct ADSL model (Alcatel), but if I use the Cisco I can not connect.
Thanks
Martin

You need to run a supported IOS for this see:

Thanks,
I am using a higher version of IOS than mentioned and there does not seem to be anything in the config specificly saying "enable PPTP from LAN" for example.
So should it happen by default, or am I missing something that I need to apply to PAT??
Thanks for you help
Martin
