NAC for remote users (VPN)

Can I deploy NAC in L3 out of band for remote (Client VPN) users.if yes, How the NAC will identify remote machines?

Cisco NAC for VPN users is only supported Inband.

Hi, I  had a question in a nac vpn implementation in VG band or Real Ip gateway is possible to place an L2 switch between Cisco ASA and CAS?
