HI,

I have L3 6506 in my network and 2590 l2 switch. I have 2 VLAN configured in L3.

VLAN name 50 and 60. In VLAN 50 I have one IGX (Wan Switch) and IP address is 172.16.50.54. There is no gateway configured in IGX.

From VlAN 60 I am not able to ping IGX because no gateway is configured in IGX.

I need to ping IGX from VLAN 60 Pls help me out. I have tried to do the NAT in L3.

Pls let me know how I NAT the IP in L3

You will not be able to ping from IGX which is in vlan 50 from another vlan 60, if gateway is not configured on IGX. If gateway is not configured, then it will only know how to reach its local lan, that is VLAN50.

If you want to use NAT, then the inside global address must be in the same VLAN as IGX. In this case, the NAT device will proxy arp for the NATed address. In this case, gateway is not needed on IGX.

On the IGX you can do a: "cnflan" and config the gateway that way.
