Need to replace a 5510. Questions about 5500-X models, and licensing

Have a 5510 with a base license that I would like to upgrade.  I'd like to know what a reasonable upgrade would be and the license I'll need, to have a comparable # of Anyconnect clients supported, as well as 1 site to site tunnel.  Right now the 5510 with the base license supports up to 10 AC clients?

I was looking at the 5516-X as we would like something that is also an upgrade as far as hardware/capacity.

I looked over some of the licensing information, but it's a little confusing and I'm not sure I need Plus, but possibly more than the base (which I think is only 2 AC clients?).

Thanks for the input.

5516-X would be a good choice, you could check if the 5508-X is also sufficient. If you plan to add NGFW inspections (Firepower), then the 5516-X gives you some more throughput. For everything else, the 5508-X won't have any restrictions for you.

For AnyConnect, you need Plus licenses for the amount of users that are using the VPN. The licensing changed from concurrent connections that are licensed to users/employees that have the AnyConnect client installed.
