I was wondering if it were possible to get a home network (via VPN) to look like a group of comptuers on the network? I've got a PC and a printer with a Jet Direct card. I would like to create a VPN where I can work from home and get into our network at work, with an IP address on their LAN but also where they can send print jobs to my printer. I think this makes since. Anyone know of any good resources to look at?

Yes you could do this as long with a lan to lan vpn.
You could this with IOS, PIX or VPN concentrators.
Some sample configs are available on:http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/707/index.shtml#ipsec

A virtual private network, or VPN, is an encrypted connection over the Internet from a device to a network.

you can do that if you have permission from your work to access their network from home. you need to set up a VPN server at your work so that you can login to it from home. for the printer to work it would have to be on the same subnet as your computer at home and the tcp port would have to be configured to a static ip
