Did you try to uninstall the client and reinstall it?

@Aref Alsouqi  We tried with uninstall and install but same. no result.

1.We tried to run in  Administrator Mode t setup but found the same error.

2. We removed the all saved folder in C drive which is related to Cisco  and restart PC.After restart we tried the same process but not succeed.

3. Windows up to date.

4. All driver is up to date.

5.Some one recommended that export the certificate of existing running laptop/pc and import into the concern pc/laptop but no result.

kindly let me know is there any others solution.

When you tried to uninstall and reinstall, did you remove the user dependent folders? if not please try to remove all of them which would be in the AppData folder, and also please remove the .cisco folder which is located under the user folder. Alternatively you can try to log into the PC with a new user and try from there.

@Aref Alsouqi I did all steps but still encountering the same error.

Interesting. Did you check the logs on Windows? Could it be a block caused by a corporate software such as an antimalware?

For us what's worked in order fixing this issue is doing the following steps:

1. Delete entire folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility

2.  On C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco Secure Client (If you installed new compliance module) delete the files ISE Posture and Umbrella, because they have been created with extension "File" instead of a folder.

3. Re-install the upgrade again, and restart PC after it completes. (Don't forget before to move ISEPostureCFG.xml to the right folder).
