No VPN Module on Cisco ISR G2 1900?

Hello,

We have a Cisco ISR G2 1941 with the Security License.  I noticed it doesn't have the following:

1 Virtual Private Network (VPN) Module

Will IPSec VPN still work?  Or is that VPN module required?

Your IPSec VPN should work. The ISR G2 routers have a built in accelerator which should handle your IPSec.

To add to what Rick said "show cry eli" and "show crypto engine config" (platform dependent) will provide information about crypto engines.
