Oracle applications (11i) and WebVPN

We would like to give users access to our Oracle suite through the WebVPN feature on our VPN 3000. The Oracle server is NOT using SSL, just http.

Connection works OK as far as the login screen - you can login but when the Java client takes over, things go awry - looks like Java is trying to use SSL and is dying horribly. Has anyone successfully made this work?

Connections using other VPN clients (PPTP, Cisco VPN client) work fine.

Are you using oracle with jinitiator to set up this WEB VPN, If yes this is not supported. If no try using the latest JAVA SDK.
