VPN Client sub-system error

I am getting the following error with the VPN Client version 4.01.

"The necessary VPN sub-system is unavailable. You cannot connect to the remote VPN server."

Have reinstalled the software a couple of times to no avail.

What version of install method did you use? Instasheild or MSI? There is also a .exe I can't remember off hand what it is that you can run to bind the client to the OS drivers. This really is a tac issue.

If this is a instashield you can contact TAC to get the manual uninstall. If it was MSI or you don't know what method it was do not follow this link. You will have to rebuild the OS if you follow it and it is not instasheild.
