Peer Address and Remote Network on ASA Config on ASDM

If peer address is basically the remote side or other end device of the IPSEC tunnel, is the "Remote Network" under "Protected Network" just the network you want actually traversing  the tunnel to and from the remote side?

Remote network corresponds to remote subnets you want to allow to communicate with over your vpn tunnel.
