We are in the initial phases of playing with Cisco VPN. We have configured our PIX 520 (version 5.2) to accept VPN from a Cisco Client 2.5. Our next step is to authenticate using our Cisco ACS server running 2.6. Unfortunately, we cannot find any information on the configuration of the ACS box to talk with the Cisco VPN client 2.5. We have found documentation on configuring ACS with Concentrators or with PPTP but not with the Cisco 2.5 VPN client. Any help would be appreciated. There must be documentation somewhere we can follow. The PIX acknowledges the VPN connection and prompts for username and password - presumably from the ACS - but then authentication fails. We have set up a group in the ACS just for VPN and are using the PIX as the NAS. We know we are close - but "no cigar!"
Thanks, Lisa
