PIX SSL/VPN

I believe that I am correct in thinking that the PIX does not support SSLVPN. However we have a client with a PIX515E used for VPN access who is currently considering going for a 3rd party SSLVPN solution.

Reading ths various martketing materials I gain the impression that SSLVPN is of growing importance, so I wonder if there any indications whether and when a version of PIX might support this. In particular I would be interested in any beta testing (if CISCO do this sort of thing?).

i would not hold my breath waiting for pix ssl vpn support - this is a differentiator they will probably reserve for the 3000 concentrators.

ssl vpn is only really desirable when people need vpn access from behind heavily firewalled/proxied internet connections.
