PIX to PIX VPN

I am trying to connect two 501 PIX boxex (w/ 6.3). One is at a location with a static IP address, and the other is at a location with a dynamic IP address.

I have not been able to get the two to connect via a VPN tunnel. It seems that the PIX is not even trying to make the connection. I was wondering if there is a step by step guide to configure the PIXs to with a static/dynamic IP pairing? Of course any advice on what I should do would be welcomed.

Thanks

Hi,

There are 2 examples, using the EasyVPN feature:

Configuring Cisco Easy VPN With PIX-to-PIX as Server and Client

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a008019e6d7.shtml

Or, using "isakmp key ******** address 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0" to accept connections from any ipsec device:

Configuring PIX to PIX Dynamic-to-Static IPSec with NAT and Cisco VPN Client

HTH,
