Pix VPN access through NAT

I understand that the Altiga supports a VPN to

be established through NAT'd interfaces. I have

a scenario where I need to establish a VPN to a PIX

with a public interface by going through a router

that has NAT activated (overloaded).

Is this supported? Can I get this to work with

the PIX?

I heard NAT transparency is on the roadmap for the PIX but I wouldn’t expect to see it anytime soon. Right now the 3000 and 5000 series are the only Cisco products I know of that offer this feature.

I think your best bet is to try it out, use transport mode (not tunnel), it should be OK as you've only got one host (the PIX) behind the NAT'ing router.
