Problems launching Cisco Secure Desktop in IE9

Hi!

I've been trying to access a corporate intranet via VPN (Cisco Secure Desktop), but I've been unsuccessful launching it with Internet Explorer 9. It does work okay with Chrome/Firefox, but I need to use IE9 to access certain parts of the Intranet that don't display properly on other browsers.

I'm using Win7 Pro 64 bit w/ IE9.

During the Weblaunch phase of the Cisco Secure Desktop, there was no ActiveX installation popup prompt so I couldn't install the ActiveX control. Also, during the "Java Virtual Machine Detection" part, I got an error message "Java not detected or installed." even though I do have Java installed, and I was able to assess other Java-enabled sites. I've tried disabling all security features in IE9 to no avail.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Would greatly appreciate your help!

The problem is a Microsoft update, I had to remove it from my machine to get anyconnect to work.

Hi,

Have you installed the latest CSD and ASA image?

Put the https link from the ASA as trusted server (under options in IE, have no IE handy).

Greets,
