We have a situation where we want to update the primary server listed in people's config to another ip address. I know how to push backup servers to clients, but was wondering is there a way to change a person's primary server ip address, so that the next time they log in, they will automatically go to the new server ? is it also possible to push a new config to a client ?
Currently in a environment with using the following:
Concentrator: VPN3030
Code: 4.0
Clients: 3.6.3, 3.6.4 (Win 2K, XP, 98)

This isn't possible, sorry.

There's no cool automatic way to do this, but there is a kludge. First, you need to create your own customized build of the software including a connection profile .pcf file containing the settings you want. Do this with a *new* version of the client. Set the concentrator to *require* the new version and provide a URL for them to download your new version. It's a sledgehammer approach that really doesn't let them connect unless they upgrade.
