I know this is an older Cisco Router but I use it a home and..well it just keeps on ticking...
- Cisco 2851 Router with 1GB of Memory and the AIM-VPN/SSL-2 Module.
- IPSec Encryption Supported (DES and 3DES; Authentication: Rivest, Shamir, and Adelman (RSA) and Diffie Hellman; data integrity: Secure Hash Algorithm 1 (SHA-1) and Message Digest Algorithm 5 (MD5); and DES, 3DES, and AES key sizes: AES128, AES192, and AES256)
- 2 Gigiabit Ethernet Ports.
- 1 IPS Sensor Module
- Running with (c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M12a) but I also have (c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.151-4.M12a) avaliable to me if it is better for VPN.
- 200Mbps/10Mbps Internet Connection and ALL Gigiabit Network over Cat-8 Flat Cable.
My question is this can....I run my own VPN Server on the Cisco Router, and if so can anyone please point me in the right direction.....and please give me your expert opnions as always...they are very welcome.
