QuickVPN Client windows 7

I installed the quickVPN Client for use with RVS4000 small business router/VPN on a platform with Windows 7. It was not able to complete the VPN connection. I installed on Windows XP machine, both on the same network. The XP machine was able to connect just fine. Can anyone help here?
