has anyone experience with the following scenario?
A client connected to internet via DSL opens a tunnel to a production network where Siemens control system is used. On the client computer Simatic S7 and Simotion software is running. With this software a connect to the Siemens control system is needed. On the network where the Siemens control system is working, a ASA 5510 with SW 8.0.4 is installed. Until now I used a "normal" IPSec connection with Cisco VPN client to test this with no success. VPN connection works fine (RDP sessions are possible to machines inside the LAN) but Simatic S7 does not work from remote PC. The customer was using Linksys equipment before implementing the ASA as his internet gateway. With that equipment he could work with Simatic S7 through IPSec tunnel without any problems. Any ideas how to solve this task with the ASA?
