We have a Central Site (India) with 1751 router acting as internet connectivity router used for web browsing. We are using 64Kbps internet leased line for the same.
Same router acts as a VPN concentrator to which all the remote dial-in user from foreign country connect by dialing in to their local ISP.
Other application include incoming and outgoing MAIL’s from the same 64Kbps ILL pipe.
Problem we are facing is that users coming from foreign country to access SAP server at central location are complaining of performance problem.
Is it a bandwidth bottleneck… do we need to upgrade the ILL pipe from 64Kbps to 128Kbps…will this solve the performance problem.
Can we rate limit for e.g dedicated 32Kbps for VPN users and rest for Web browsing and Post master Mail applications.
Any suggestion/Configuration will be helfpul to solve the problem.
