Real Simple VPN question - maybe...

Here is the deal. We currently run Frame connects to all of our 40+ sites around the world. We want to move some of our international and smaller sites to a technology that is less expensive than our Frame connections. We were hoping in the locations that DSL was available, or compatible Cable technology, that we could have the Site VPN through the DSL connect back here to our corporate site. All of our remote sites have Cisco 2620 routers and we have a Variety of routers 7204, 3640, and 2621 sitting back here at the Corp site. Is it possible to add a FE or Ethernet port to one of our corp routers, that is connected to the internet via a 1.2Meg DSL connect, and then have the remote sites also connect up to a dsl connection and VPN - Site-to-Site back to the corp location? We have a Cisco PIX 520 that is currently at 4.2 because that is all the memory we have for it, we can upgrade the memory however to put a new version on it, if it will enable us to VPN. However the powers that be are not going to be too keen on us putting PIX's at everysite so do I have a chance to make something happen here?

thanks,

dan

Just put the VPN image on all your routers and the PIX 520 at headquarters (upgrade the memory if necessary) and then you can terminate all your vpn’s at the PIX. All the routers you listed have IPSEC images available now.

Hope this helps.
