Dear All,

This is regarding SSH config. As per existing network we are using telnet to login into the router, also we have local VPN username and password configured on router ahich we are using for remote VPN users. Now I want to configure SSH on router, so whether it will affect on current VPN username and password?Any connectivity problem will get created for remote VPN users?

Thanks,

Abhisar.

If you are running IPSec remote access VPN, with pre-shared key, SSH will not affect anything.

If you are running SSL VPN, you don't have to regenerate the key, just use the key that has been generated previously, and enable the router to listen on ssh on its vty line, and it will work just fine.

Thank you Jennifer for your reply..

Yes we are running IPsec remote access VPN only with pre-shared key. I was little sure that it will not affect, now I will go ahead with

SSH configuration and will let you the results.

Thanks,

Abhisar
