Reset VPN 3000

We forget the admin password for our VPN 3000. We have seem it's not possible reset password in this model.

How could we reset the password?

Could we reset the default seting and to get the configuration files? We have a backup of configuration file, config, config.bak, copiacgf.bak, savelog.txt.

Actually, there is a standard password recovery procedure.

You will need console access to the device to perform it:

In this procedure we have seem:

"For VPN 3000 Series Concentrator, Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS) release 3.1.X, be aware that there is no way to recover your system if you forget the Administrator password. Take appropriate measures to safeguard your password. If you forget the Administrator password, you cannot log in to your system, and you have to return the VPN Concentrator to be recovered"

Is it imposible recovery de password for admin in a VPN 3000?
