hi

i want to establish route base ipsec vpn tunnel  between cisco pix using ios  7.0  with sonicwall nsa 3500 using sonicos 5.6 by enabling ospf dynamic protocol for tunnel

can some one will guide  me here

Hello Prasad,

From description it seems that You want to build a LAN to LAN IPSEC tunnel between a Pix and Sonicwall and want to run Dynamic routing protocol over the tunnel.

Well you can build a LAN to LAN Ipsec tunnel between these devices however, Dynamic routing is not possible with plain IPSEC tunnel.

However if you have a router than you can go GRE over IPSEC tunnel between the 2.

With current equipment is place you have option of static LAN to LAN tunnel.
