Router IOS supporting IKEv2 on GNS3

Hi,

I am looking for an IKEv2 supported IOS for 7200 router to test FlexVPN on GNS3. I searched on Cisco tools and found c7200-advsecurity-15.2(4)M suitable for working on FlexVPN and IKEv2. However when I tested it on GNS3, it doesn't support ikev2 commands.

Please advise if it is possible to test it on GNS3 or suggest alternative.

You can use the Cloud Services Router (CSR) which runs inside VMware (ESXi, Workstation, Fusion). These routers support IKEv2.

Thanks Karsten for your response. I did check CSR 1000V and tested on Virtualbox but unfortunately I couldn't find ikev2 support in IOS. IOSsing is  version I am using is csr1000v-universalk9.03.12.00.S.154-2.S-std

It could be that your CSR only uses the standard-license. For configuring IKEv2 (and other security-stuff), the advanced license needs to be activated on the router. Disclaimer: Although you can activate the license without having bought it, be aware that this is probably not allowed.

The new GNS3 with IOU support will run this fine.  The IOU image is 15.4.1T
