SA500 IPSec VPN fails with MODE CONFIG

Hello every one,

I am experiencing an issue with IPSec VPN while connecting from a client to my SA520W firewall.

I have setup the IKE and VPN policies and everything works, until I try to enable mode config: with the exact same policies, enabling mode config causes phase 1 of IPSec to fail.

The failure is logged as:

[Cisco] [IKE] ERROR:  Could not find configuration for a.b.c.d[500]

where a.b.c.d is the client's external IP address.

I have provided the firewall's IPSec configuration with a Dynamic IP Range located on a specific VLAN.

What does MODE CONFIG requires?
