Has anyone experienced AnyConnect VPN in Secure Connect Client not working after installing 5.1.7.80 until the PC is rebooted?  We don't usually have this issue.

Thanks!

 - Note that this could also be depend on what is going on and installed on your PC; to verify it as a real problem it should be compared on a virgin and or fresh installed device ,

Does it actually prompt you to reboot or you just noticed that isn't working until you reboot the endpoint?

We installed 5.1.7.80 on two PC yesterday.  We had to uninstall it and go back to the previous version.  It created all types of issues with network interfaces on the PC.  Once installed, I had to reboot one PC three times for the network cards to even show up. This is on Windows 11 Pro - 23H2.

On top of that, it messed up the Wifi where the Wifi would not connect on a PC boot.  Once the user signed into the PC, then the wireless would connect to the SSID. Not good when you are using MFA push and the PC will not connect to the wireless on PC boot.

Back on 5.1.6.103 and everything is working as expected again.

I see. Tbh I didn't get the chance to test the 5.1.7 release, but from what you are experiencing it does suggest that it's not a stable release. I would recommend trying to get TAC opinion on this.
