Setup Wizard Ended Prematurely Error When Reinstalling Cisco on Win10

Hi experts,

I'm having trouble reinstalling Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on my company laptop running Windows 10 64-bit. I keep getting the error:

"Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Setup Wizard ended prematurely"

Here's the situation:

• I previously had Cisco AnyConnect installed.
• After encountering some issues, I attempted to reinstall it.
• However, the reinstall fails with the above error, and I can no longer install the client at all.

What I've tried so far (unsuccessfully):

• Complete uninstall using the method described here: [GitHub anyconnect-uninstaller]
• Registry cleanup:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cisco
• I also tried the steps in this guide:

  But I couldn't complete it because the BFE service was missing from my system.

Since this is a company PC, I’d like to avoid a full Windows reset or clean install unless absolutely necessary.
