Has anyone ever configured a cisco 3015 or similar for a site-2-site with a symantec vpn/firewall 100? I called symantec and they say that the symantec device is configured correctly. When i go to configure the cisco box, i get cannot parse ip address. any idea what i am doing wrong?
thanks!

Hi Jenn,
I haven't configured that, but in order to troubleshoot multi-vendor problems, make sure that you enable proper debugs/events on the VPN devices and go through them to see what;s going on

Thanks. do you know which classes would help me troubleshoot?
do you have any clue why i would be getting this error: Unable to parse source IP address?
thanks!

Jenn,
Enable:
IKE, IKEDBG,IPSEC,IPSECDBG , severity to log 1-13 to find out what's going on
As far as the log message that you mentioned, I haven't seen this before.. It's better if you enable all the above mentioned events, to find out the real cause of the problem
