Site-to-site VPN and domain names

Hi all! Ive got a site to site VPN between a cisco PIX 505 and PIX 515. I am thus far unable to communicate between the VPN. The only problem that I see with my configurations is that the domain name on the 515 is different from the domain name on the 505. Could this disable the VPN?

I cant ping through the VPN or use an internet browser to access a webserver on the other side

What VPN are you configuring IPsec? If this is the case use debug crypto ipsec and debug crypto isakmp to troubleshoot the issue.
