We have a Site-to-Site VPN between our two offices. There are domain controllers at each end and they replicate almost instantly. We can also quickly access server resources via RDP. The problem that we are experiencing is that when it comes to file transfers, it can take days to transfer large files. Navigating the network is also almost instant however.
Both gateways are RV082 routers. One location has a 3mbps connection while the other is at 1mbps.
What prompted me to post is that I was trying to install an application (100mb), the estimated time to download the set-up file was about 16 hours! On top of that it timed out, despite the VPN never losing connectivity.
I really look forward to some assistance because I am stuck here.
