I have VPN connection .
172.16.24.x/24-----60.34.12.208=========202.22.29.80-----10.86.249.x/24
(local side) (remote side)
I have to allow icmp(ping) from 10.86.249.x/24 to host 172.16.24.48. Please help me to configure this.

Hello, Sulochana.
Please, provide some more information in order the Community can help you.
What devices are used to build VPN-Tunnel from both sites? Cisco Routers, Cisco ASAs or something else?
Can you configure devices on both sites or you have access only to one site of VPN-tunnel?
And the best way to give us more information is to post the configurations of devices, while cleaning out all sensitive information (domain names, user names, passwords, maybe IP-addresses).

Hi,
In addition to above suggestion, you can also check any icmp block/firewall enabled on both end hosts. Also check antivirus settings as well and make sure local ping works. As long as the tunnel is up, encrypted traffic flow should pass unless you have ACL in place for VPN traffic.
