I´m not sure if i have a problem with vpn. I have 2 asa 5510, I create site to site vpn, and it´s working perfect, but with slow speed (depending protocol to use). I test with SMB, SMB2, FTP, SCP, and IPERF obtein next result (downloading from site B):
SMB: 400 KB
SMB2: 6 MB
FTP: 500 KB
SCP: 800 KB
IPERF: 5 MB
Banthwith site A: 100 Mb / 100 Mb
Banthwith site B: 100 Mb / 25 Mb
Latency: 180-190 ms.
I've tried changing the settings tcp mss and mtu, but I've not got any improvement.
do yoy think that I have a problem with configuration or is normal taking into account the latency?

Hey Jorge,
I would say the speeds you're experiecing would be normal with that high of a latency.

Also Brad Hedlund wrote an excellent article about TCP speeds over long distances, a good read.
