hi,
I talking about the Thin Client SSL VPN: It is secure access of TCP application that use the static port number like POP3 SMTP,Telnet. but not FTP because the dynamic port applications.
So I want to know the any reason why its not support dynamic port applications?
Please help on same.

Hi ,
This is because this is a port forwarding thin client. A port on the client maps to the actual port on the server. In the case of ftp, the data ports are based on the control channel negotiations that happens initiallly .Also in the case of ftp there is possiblity of using both passive and actiuve modes. All this cannot be mapped on a one to one basis in the case of the port forwarding thin client. Hence no dynamic ports.
If ftp is required, the clientless and full client are the good options available.
