I just applied 25-50 SSL upgrade license to a failover cluster and it caused some issues. Once they were applied to both ASA's the failover went nuts, and flapped between both boxes until they were reloaded.
Here is the strange thing though. The images for the webvpn were removed from the configuration and had to be added back.
Version running is 8.2(2).
First why would it affect the failover in such a way? I know it disabled it when the first license was applied, but when the one for the standby was applied, re-enabling failover should not have caused them to flap back and forth like it did.
Second, why would the svc images be removed from the configuration?
I have never had this problem applying licenses to an ASA before.
