I am using RSA ACE server as my TACACS+ server (seems to be based on the Cisco Unix freeware version - deamon called sdtacplusd). Command authorization works except for level 0 commands (enable..etc). Is this normal or am I missing something.
I know the freeware TACAS+ is not supported by Cisco and isn’t nearly as robust as Cisco Secure ACS. I would suggest looking into that to replace that old freeware server software.
