Terminal Server arrow keys displayed A B C D

HI all

I have a problem with cisco terminal server and putty.

I'm working on the terminal server (2801 12.4(24)T4) the arrow keys are working fine.

I open a remote line --> arrow keys displays A B C or D???

I changed the putty settings to VT100+, VT400 --> same issue

Client with putty --ssh---> terminal server (2801) -- 8-Port Async Cable --> remote device (e.g. catalyst switch).

Can anyone helps me?
