We have ASA 5510 running for a few months without any problems. Recently we added Wevpn and site to site VPN on the ASA. It starts to have some connection issue. In the past week, we had 3 incidents that we could not access the Internet. We must restart the ASA to make it work. I called our ISP regarding this issue. They checked the log and found the heavy traffic pounded the ASA, but could not provide more details like from which public IP addresses. Is it possible my VPN configuration make this problem? How can I setup ASA to monitor any errors or send me a notification whenever we have a critical error?
