Unable to access NFS drives from local network when connected to VPN using Cisco AnyConnect

I have a home network with shared hard drives over the NFS protocol and I often need to use the Cisco AnyConnect Client to connect to my office network through VPN. Unfortunately, as soon as I connect to VPN, my shared drives (which are managed by a Linux server in my home network) become inaccessible, and I cannot directly transfer files between those and my office computer, which has become very frustrating. Please note that I am using Linux Mint 20.1 and Cisco AnyConnect 4.9. Ticking and unticking "enable local LAN access" in the Client settings made no difference, and I cannot find any further options to configure. I am not a network expert, so I would appreciate your help greatly.
