Updating a dynamic ip address

Hi !

I'm using an 1811 router/switch for my home network. Its connected to a Cable Modem and I'm assigned a dynamic ip address (static ip is not available yet for OOL Boost). I use a dynamic update client for the no-ip.com service. This only works if I keep a computer running on my LAN to keep the service updated.

Is there a way to keep my public ip address updated using just my router ?

Hi Matthew,

You can use the IOS Dynamic DNS feature for this. The following URL has details on how to configure it:
