Updating AnyConnect on ASA

I have not yet had the experience doing this so I wanted to ask a few questions. I am downloading the PKG file and the pre-deploy files right now and will upload the PKG files to the ASA. I will also use the pre-deploy package to update the client on my PCs. Is there anything else I need to know?           

ASDM Version: 6.0(3)

ASA Version: 8.0(4)

Is it true that you only need to load a specific PKG file on the ASA if you want to web-deploy? If you are pre-deploying the anyconnect, you don't necessarily need to use the web deploy option right?

Actually I think I solved this. I went ahead and uploaded the latest PKG file. It is forcing all my folks to update to the latest version of AnyConnect for it to work, but they would've needed to do that anyway.

Yes that is correct, all you need to do is to upload the AnyConnect pkg to the ASA and the client will be automatically updated.
