v.92 modem

Dear Sir,

I have configure v.92 8 port modem on cisco 3745 router which has IOS image Version 12.3(7)T12. I have configure the modem with all basic requirement but when its comming ot ppp authentcation , its dropping the connection and giving the error

Hi Mohammed,

Looking thru the logs & configs it appears that the ppp process does not start, also w have the router configured for ppp call back.

We have the following:

interface Group-Async1

async mode interactive

group-range 129 136 <<< add this command

Under the line "autoselect ppp" is missing.

autoselect ppp <<<< add this command
