HI Guys,
I work in a company that terminated over 200 ipsec tunnels on a non cisco security product. This is all done one box with one ip.
Obviously a problem. if the box falls overs.
I have just started to read about dmvpn and have two really high level questions am considering putting on two 5520 Asa as a replacement.
Can I use dmvpn (nhrp) on NON Cisco Boxes on the spoke side. We deal with alot of different companies that all hav different products ????
I dont need to any spoke to spoke communication so I take it that this is also possible.
Thanks
Kevin

Kevin,
First of all, DMVPN on ASA - not possible (not now although we might see it in not-so-distant future).
In theory you could run P2P GRE on spoke and multipoint on hub (I'm not sure about the interoperability, working where I do, I have not seen anything that is non-Cisco as spoke).
