I have recently been tasked with configuring the email proxy functionality on a VPN 3000 concentrator.

I have IMAPS working without any issues, but I cannot get the SMTPS to work. When I attempt to send a mail I can see the session log on correctly in the event log, but the email client requests the username and password.
The VPN concentrator can send mail using this mail server. If I connect using the VPN client, I can send mail using this server.
Has anyone else encountered such issues?
Notes IMAP and SMTP mail server and Outlook Express client.
Any assitance appreciated.
