hello,
I'm trying to establish a Vpn connection from home to work.
Here Are some details about the set-up.
At home :
Windows xp pro sp2. Connecting the internet through a standard adsl modem (speedtouch510).
This modem has a static public address assigned by the provider
At work :
The cisco836 acting as a perimeter router directly conected to the Internet via isdn adsl with a static public address on dialer1
Behind the router our network consisting of a sbs2000 domain server and about 10 cliënts xp pro sp2 computers.
I like to use this router acting as the pass trough (transportmode) between home and the office.
Can someone help me with a configuration for the router.
Best regards Ilja zwolsman

I think it should be best for you connect via VPN client (installed on you home PC) to 836 (it will be easy VPN server)
try following document
http://www.cisco.com/application/pdf/en/us/guest/products/ps6659/c1650/cdccont_0900aecd80313bdf.pdf
Tahn you will have access to all network computers
Another option is create pernament IPsec tunnel between speedtouch510 and 836
M.
Hope that helps , rate if it does

Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
The configuration in the document You advised consists of a different router (not the 836 router).
Although the 836 router is an IOS router I'm wondering if it can act as an Easy VPN Server. In that case Your advise is very welcome !!
best regards, Ilja Zwolsman
