VPN Client and Skype

I have a user who's vpn client worked fine until they installed Skype. (Not sure if it was just a coincedence) Now the tunnel will establish but no traffic. Including icmp traffic to an ip address. Disconnect the tunnel and the pc connects to the local lan just fine.

I have tried uninstalling skype and the vpn client and just installing back the vpn client but have the same issue.

I have Skype and a Cisco VPN client installed on Win2k and WinXp and no problems, so it can work.

What the problem in your case is, is hard to tell, because I am assuming you track a Microsoft DLL or even Registry problem.

Assumption is that the VPN works for other users from the same location.
