VPN Client Application Launcher VBScript

I have tried using the application launcher feature in the 4.0.3A and 4.0.3D VPN client versions. If I use and .exe or .bat file the launcher works. If I try to launch a .vbs file the application launcher errors saying it can't find it.

Is there any way the VPN client appliation launcher will work with a vbscript?

You can always call vbs from the bat file.

True but I really don't want to. It looks ugly. Excuse me for being cosmetic but I was hopeing for something invisable. Can the client run vbscript?
