Hi,
I am connecting to an ASA5510 with Cisco VPN client 5.0.00.0340.
I am using pool of addresses to be assigned (10.0.0.190-.10.0.0.195) and an address is assigned correctly on connection.
Problem is the default gateway on the client is 10.0.0.1 , I haven't specified this IP address anywhere, this address is neither the asa5510 (10.0.0.250) nor the client (.190 - .195), does anyone have an idea where this could be coming from???
Thanks in advance...

could you show "ipconfig /all" add "route print" on the client

Most probably you try to connect to the VPN box from a 10.0.0.0/24 private space, that is overlapping with the subnet configured on the ASA.
You should change the VPN client subnet to 10.1.0.x or something similar to avoid the overlap.
Please rate if this helped.
Regards,
Daniel
