VPN client error message

When I use my vpn client to connect to a PIX firewall in NAT environment,I can find following error message:

That is a cosmetic issue and will/should not cause any problem for you. It is a cosmetic bug CSCef85872 for VPN client. Bug reports "In the VPN Client logs, customer would see the following log message

under normal use:

Error with call to IpHlpApi.DLL: DeleteIpForwardEntry, error 87

You can see the description for that bug and the version in which it is resolved on cco via bug toolkit.

I see this same entry in my logs. In the VPN client, the error displayed is:

"Reason 401: An unrecognized error occurred while establishing the VPN connection. Not connected"

For me, at least, this problem is more than cosmetic as I am unable to establish a VPN connection after that. It appears that the offending action is the disconnection process.

Following this error, the "netstat -bv" command shows the following:

In these events (which occur frequently), the only way I can establish a connection to work is using the old "Nortel" VPN client.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am receiving the same error using VPN Client 4.8.00.0440 on Win98, connecting to a VPN3000 concentrator.

Quite a ridiculous error:

Reason 401: An unrecognized error occurred while establishing the VPN connection.

I find it in the Status->Notifications.

The log is empty with all at High.

Anybody with a suggestion ?
