Hi I'm using the dual monitor option on my IBM R40 thinkpad. (Radeon Mobile somthing) The lcd is primary display (1400x1050). The secondary display is connected to a CRT at 1600x1200, placed to the left of primary display (phycically and logically)
When using the VPN client with this config, the "User authentication dialog" where i input my ID and PWD is shown outside of the display. And my normal methods to move them dont work. If i place the secondary display logically to the right, the DLG is placed close to the logical center of the two displays.
Should some newer version than the 4.0.3 i'm currently using be avail, please point me in the right direction, as i have been unable to find anything that resambles on your DL pages.
Thanks for your time.
best regards Henrik.

This is a video card driver/setting issue. Matrox has nailed down a solution - I am typing this on a g450 driving two different sized monitors, with the matrox setting to push all popup/lock workstation stuff to the center of my 21 inch monitor.
I don't think ATI has nailed this down - I had the same problem as you at home with a radeon 9000 in dual head mode, but I did not spend much time with it.
I expect you see similar placement when you ALT+CTRL+DEL to lock the workstation or logon, right?

I not shure it's a driver problem. ALT+CTRL+DEL appears nicely centered on the primary display under similar circumstances.
It's the only dialog I have ever seen fail in this respect.
But thanks anyway. (And I'll start looking for a new driver)
Best regards. Henrik
